There are a large number of hotels in Lexington to accommodate the many business travelers and horse industry visitors. New construction has already begun on additional hotels in Lexington to support the estimated 300,000 travelers coming for the FEI World Equestrian Games in 2010.
Students and budget travelers will not find hostels or cheap guest houses within the city – try searching on www.couchsurfing.com for someone to stay with.
A taxi from the airport to these downtown hotels will cost you around $20 + tip. Many hotels in Lexington offer full time shuttle service from the airport.
