Kentucky Horse Park Information
The Lexington Kentucky Horse Park is located just a scenic 20 minute drive from the city. The 1,200 acre park is home to many Kentucky Derby winners and brings in around 900,000 visitors and competitors a year. Every April the horse park hosts the three day Rolex Event which brings Olympians and some of the largest names in eventing.

In 2010, the Lexington Kentucky Horse Park will be the site of the World Equestrian Games, attracting an estimated 200,000 visitors from all over the world! This will nearly double the population of Lexington and surrounding areas during the event. The Equestrian Games begin on September 25th and run until October 10th, 2010. With so many people coming to Lexington, you should be getting your reservations (if possible) at Lexington Hotels now.
